You know what’s terrifying…
Have you ever realized that you’re only yourself
And nobody else?
You look at others to try and Figure out what they’re feeling and understand what is not understood to feel what can’t be felt.
But you just can’t Comprehend you’re only yourself and nobody else.
you want to see what it’s like in others minds but it’s difficult to understand that not everything is exactly as it seems in fact it could all be fake but you refuse to believe that fake is real and real is fake or maybe it’s the complete opposite or maybe I’m wrong maybe I’m just going crazy…
But yet you want to be able to help other people…
and you want to figure out what is The truth, and you want to figure it out desperately…
but you can’t because you’re only yourself and nobody else.
then you try to understand that everybody has there own life to undergo and live through but it’s so hard to even remotely see others life in full perspective so you don’t.
And you know that you’re not alone in this State of mind because you have your own thoughts to think.
And everybody has their own story to tell and their own memories to Live and Comprehend throughout life.
And no matter what you try as a Human, being you, you will always be yourself and nobody else.
And that’s why we right these things to take a peek into the minds and thoughts of others to see what they see to find the commonalities between minds and the ugly and the extraordinary.
but there minds are as complicated and confusing as a maize with your eyes closed, as a tide with no water, or finding a pin needle in a hay Stack. So we relate our own experiences and thoughts to what others might be feeling.
Though truly it makes everything all of these experiences, thoughts, feelings, expressions, movements, you…and so with that you and me and everyone else will always only be themself and nobody else.
And I think I like it like that.
Welcome to the Cardinal Collection! We are the Literary Magazine, and this year we are working with the Newspaper to bring you our magazine! Our magazine is a collection of fictional writing pieces and art submitted by students. Our collection works a little differently than the Newspaper. We accept submissions not just from members of the club, but also from the student body in general! No commitment, no stress, no extra club. This is an easy way to get published! We accept poetry, short stories, excerpts, and art! Scan the QR code or visit the form here to submit your works. You must be logged on to your AACPS email to submit. And if you would like to join our club to help edit and put together the collection, stop by room A233 on Thursdays during Red Week!
